Hsiu-Wen is a fully qualified Speech Pathologist who completed her Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) at the University of Sydney. She is passionate about working with adults with voice disorders, including workers compensation cases, return to work plans and pre-/post-surgical voice treatment. She also has particular interests in swallowing difficulties, accent modification and disability. She is committed to providing individually tailored services to maximise her clients’ quality of life and achieve their aspirations.
Hsiu-Wen has worked in various schools and hospitals across Sydney and with clients from a non-English speaking background. She is fluent in Mandarin. Hsiu-Wen also enjoys attending workshops and undergoing training to extend her knowledge and keep up to date with the latest research findings. She has undergone training in voice techniques including VoicecraftTM and other workshops such as stroboscopic examination.
Hsiu-Wen is currently a member of Speech Pathology Australia, Australian Voice Association and Laryngology Society Australasia.
She consults in Westmead, Eastwood, St Leonards, as well as providing Speech Pathology services to nursing homes and group homes.
